LONDON, Aug 1 (Reuters) - BNP Paribas (BNPP.PA) has been admitted as a primary dealer in Irish government bonds in a move the Irish National Treasury Management Agency said on Friday would enhance the profile of its debt.

The French bank said being a primary market maker in Irish government debt would bolster its position as one of the leading European government bond houses. (Reporting by Emelia Sithole-Matarise)
