Technip wins biodiesel plant deal in Singapore
PARIS, Jan 15 (Reuters) - French oil services firm Technip (TECF.PA) said on Tuesday it had been selected by Finnish refiner Neste Oil Corporation (NES1V.HE) as contractor to build a new generation renewable diesel plant in Singapore.
The plant, which represents a total investment of around 550 million euros ($817.7 million), will have a production capacity of 800,000 tonnes a year and will be the largest facility producing diesel fuel from renewable feedstocks, the statement said.
Construction of the plant will begin in the first half of 2008.
Technip shares were up 1.36 percent at 53.49 euros by 0831 GMT. (Reporting by Dominique Vidalon; editing by Sue Thomas)
