LONDON (Reuters) - Prudential (PRU.L) is eyeing Equitable Life's EQL.UL 7 billion pounds with-profit fund, according to the Financial Times.

Prudential has not yet decided whether it is interested in all or part of the fund, as the process is still in its early stages, according to people familiar with the matter, the paper said.

Prudential was not immediately available for comment.

Prudential recently took on 1.7 billion pounds of with-profit annuities from Equitable.
