FACTBOX - The actions of the would-be bombers
LONDON (Reuters) - Four men were found guilty on Monday of plotting to bomb London's transport system on July 21, 2005, two weeks after suicide bombers killed 52 people in similar attacks.
Following is the prosecution's account of what the men -- Ramzi Mohammed, Muktah Said Ibrahim, Yassin Hassan Omar and Hussein Osman -- did on that day.
All the men were at Mohammed's flat in Dalgarno Gardens in North Kensington, west London, on the morning of July 21.
Later in the morning, Mohammed set off with Ibrahim and Omar in his blue Fiat Punto car to south London, while Osman stayed in the flat.
Unlike the men who carried out the July 7 attacks, they chose to attack later in the morning, rather than at rush hour when security was tighter.
At around midday, the car is seen on closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV) approaching Stockwell underground station and chief prosecutor Nigel Sweeney said they parked in a side street nearby.
CCTV cameras then show the men, carrying rucksacks, walking separately up Stockwell Road to the station, with Mohammed on the other side of the road to the other two suspects.
They are then filmed entering the station at around 12.20 p.m, passing through the ticket barrier and heading down to the platform. Ibrahim and Mohammed head to the Northern Line, while Omar goes to the Victoria Line. Continued...
