PARIS (Reuters) - Penpix of South Africa squad for Saturday's World Cup final against England (8 p.m. BST):
1 - Loosehead prop - Os du Randt, age 35, height 1.90m (6ft 3in), weight 125kg (19 stone 8lb), caps 79.
Sole survivor of the 1995 Rugby World Cup-winning squad and South Africa's third most capped player, he missed the 2003 tournament through injury but has made a remarkable comeback as the cornerstone of the Springbok pack.
2 - Hooker - John Smit, 29, 1.86m (6ft 1in), 116kg (18st 3lb), caps 73.
Holds the record of tests as Springboks captain. A fine leader, he rallied his side when Fiji pulled level at 20-20 in their quarter-final with the words: "I told the guys to remember the look in the eyes of the Aussies and the Kiwis and said I didn't want to see that here."
3 - Tighthead prop - CJ van der Linde, 27, 1.90m (6ft 3in), 122kg (19st 3lb), caps 46.
A versatile prop who can play either side of the hooker, Van der Linde secured his place in the starting lineup when BJ Botha was sent home after injuring his knee in the final pool game against the United States. Injury forced Van der Linde to miss the quarter-final against Fiji but he returned for the semi-final against the Pumas.
4 - Lock - Bakkies Botha, 28, 2.02m (6ft 7in), 118kg (18st 8lb), caps 43. Continued...
