FACTBOX - Security developments in Iraq

(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 9:45 a.m. British time on Friday.

NEAR MOSUL - Gunmen killed one policeman and wounded three others when they attacked their checkpoint on Thursday, near the city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Two bodies were found in Baghdad on Thursday, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed one person and wounded another on Thursday in the district of New Baghdad, in the eastern part of the capital, police said.

BAGHDAD - U.S. forces captured five suspected "special groups militants", a term it uses for Iranian-backed militias, during operations in Adhamiyah district, northern Baghdad, the U.S. military said.
