FACTBOX: Military and civilian deaths in Iraq

(Reuters) - A U.S. soldier was killed by a roadside bomb during an attack on his patrol near Samarra, 100 km (60 miles) north of Baghdad, on Saturday, the U.S. military said on Monday.

Another U.S. soldier was killed by a roadside bomb in Baghdad on Sunday, and earlier a U.S soldier was killed by a roadside bomb during combat operations in Baghdad on Saturday.
