Tennis-Roddick out of French Open with back injury
BERLIN, May 19 (Reuters) - World number six Andy Roddick has pulled out of next week's French Open due to a problem with his back, his brother John Roddick said on Monday at the World Team Cup in Duesseldorf.
Roddick sustained the injury in his semi-final match against Stanislas Wawrinka at the Rome Masters earlier this month and needs to rest for 10-12 days, his brother said in a statement released by Duesseldorf organisers. (Editing by Miles Evans)
