MADRID, April 20 (Reuters) - News in brief before this weekend's matches in the Primera Liga:

* Valencia striker David Villa should be available for Saturday's crunch match against Real Madrid despite pulling up in training on Friday.

Coach Quique Sanchez Flores told reporters that the Spain international, who has been suffering from a stomach bug, was expected to recover in time to play at the Bernabeu.

Midfielder Miguel Angel Angulo looks almost certain to miss the clash because of a thigh strain but skipper David Albelda should be back after missing last week's win over Sevilla due to a knee injury.

* David Beckham is expected to be back in the Real Madrid squad after six weeks out with a ligament injury to his right knee. The former England captain will have eight more opportunities to play for Real in the league before he leaves for MLS side LA Galaxy.

Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas has said his side must win the match against Valencia if they are to keep their title hopes alive. He told the club's Web site (www.realmadrid.com): "Whoever loses can wave goodbye to their chances of the league title." Real are in third place in the standings, five adrift of leaders Barcelona and one ahead of Valencia.
