FACTBOX - Military and civilian deaths in Iraq

(Reuters) - One American soldier was killed in Diyala Province on Thursday when an explosion occurred near his vehicle. Another soldier was wounded, U.S. military said.

The Romanian Defence Ministry said a Romanian soldier was killed and five others were severely wounded in an explosion on Friday during a patrol next to their base in Tallil in the south of the country.

Following are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq and Iraqi civilians killed in attacks since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003:
