LONDON (Reuters) - Prince Charles had a non-cancerous growth removed from his face in a minor procedure, his office said on Friday.

"It was a very minor and routine matter," a spokeswoman said.

The prince, who turns 60 in November, was pictured on Friday with a small white bandage on the right side of the bridge of his nose.
