Cricket-Sri Lanka win the toss and bat v India, 1st day 1st test

 COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, 23 July (Reuters) - Sri Lanka won the
toss and decided to bat on the first day of the first test
against India on Wednesday.
 Play is scheduled to start at 1000 GMT after the first two
sessions were lost due to morning rain and a wet outfield. 42
overs are scheduled for the day.

 Mahela Jayawardene (Capt), Kumar Sangakkara, Malinda
Warnapura, Thilan Samaraweera, Michael Vandort, Tillakaratne.
