Rank to sell pension scheme to Goldman - paper
LONDON, Jan 24 (Reuters) - British casino and bingo company Rank Group Plc (RNK.L) is in exclusive talks to sell its 700-million-pound ($1.4 billion)pension scheme to Goldman Sachs (GS.N), the Daily Telegraph said on Thursday.
The newspaper said the deal would be the biggest sale of a publicly-quoted company's pension scheme and is expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
Neither Rank nor Goldman could be immediately reached for comment. (Reporting by Mark Potter; Editing by David Holmes)
