Man guilty of cramming 13 into his car
LONDON (Reuters) - A man was banned from driving on Tuesday after being stopped by police with 13 people in his Volvo saloon car, media reports said.
Abraham Gniwosch, 31, was pulled over by officers while driving near Llandudno in north Wales last August.
Apart from him, they found a man and a child sitting in the front passenger seat of the Volvo S70 with 10 others sitting or standing in the back, the reports said.
Gniwosch denied dangerous driving and told Llandudno magistrates he had been travelling at no more than 20 mph.
"I've been silly in what I've done, but not dangerous," the BBC quoted him as saying.
He was found guilty and banned from driving for 12 months and fined 500 pounds.
