German stocks - Factors to watch on June 25
FRANKFURT, June 25 (Reuters) - The DAX top-30 index .GDAXI looked set to open 0.1 percent higher on Wednesday, according to pre-market data from brokers at 0610 GMT.
The following are some of the factors that may move German stocks on Wednesday (share price indications at 0610 GMT):
DEUTSCHE POSTBANK (DPBGn.DE)
Indicated 1.3 percent higher
Postbank is edging closer towards a sale, a source with direct knowledge of the matter said on Tuesday. Main owner Deutsche Post (DPWGn.DE) was in advanced talks with buyers from Germany and abroad, the source said, denting market talk that the auction may be postponed. [ID:nL24392900]
Separately, Talanx, Germany's third-biggest insurer, said any new owner of Postbank or U.S. Citibank's (C.N) German arm would have to stick to insurance sales cooperation agreements with Talanx. [ID:nL24458810]
