Lib Dem leader Clegg to be father again
LONDON (Reuters) - Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg is to become a father for the third time, his party announced on Tuesday.
Clegg and his wife, Miriam Gonzalez Durantez, said their new baby was due next February.
"Miriam and I are lucky to have two wonderful little boys, but we'd always hoped to have a third child," Clegg said in a statement.
"So we are thrilled to bits that next February, all being well, our sons will have a little brother or sister."
The news comes less than a week before the party's autumn conference begins in Bournemouth.
Clegg, 41, became the Lib Dems' third leader in just two years when he took over from Menzies Campbell last December.
