Soccer-Roundup 2-Stuttgart sign Turkey midfielder Bastuerk
LONDON, May 28 (Reuters) - News in brief from around the world:
* VfB Stuttgart have signed Turkey midfielder Yildiray Bastuerk on a free transfer from Hertha Berlin, the Bundesliga champions said on Monday.
The 28-year-old former Bayer Leverkusen player, who was often injured during his stint in Berlin, has played in 218 Bundesliga games and 40 Champions League matches.
* France defender Anthony Reveillere hes extended his Olympique Lyon contract by four years, the six-times French champions said on Monday. Right back Reveillere, 27, joined Lyon in 2003 from Valencia and is now tied with the club until 2011.
Wydad Casablanca have fired their French coach Ladislas Lozano after conceding their title and being eliminated from the African Confederation Cup, the club's Web site said.
The 55-year-old Lozano had been in charge only since February, when he replaced Portuguese coach Jose Romao.
It was Lozano's second spell at the club after a previous stint during the 2001/2002 season.
