GAZA (Reuters) - An Israeli missile strike on a vehicle in the heart of Gaza City on Thursday killed at least two Palestinian militants, medical and militant officials said.

The Popular Resistance Committees militant group said one of its senior bomb makers was killed in the attack.

Local witnesses said the militants were travelling in a vehicle carrying canned beverages and snacks. An Israeli army spokeswoman said the target of the missile strike was a vehicle carrying explosives and weapons.
