MADRID, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Iberdrola (IBE.MC) said on Monday it had bought four wind power plants with capacity of 108 Megawatts in Hungary, as the Spanish power group continues to push further into renewable energy and foreign markets.
In a statement, Iberdrola said the wind parks would be built in the next two years and would require investment of 155 million euros ($223.4 million).
Iberdrola, which is due to list its renewable energy arm Iberdrola Renovables on the market this year, has 7,342 MW of installed capacity in renewable energy and a portfolio of contracts worth more than 41,200 MW.
Last week, Iberdrola said it planned to develop interests in Eastern and Central Europe and would invest 8.6 billion euros on renewable energy in 2008-1010.
