Soccer-Coach Paciencia leaves Uniao Leiria

LISBON, March 30 (Reuters) - Domingos Paciencia resigned as coach of Portuguese Premier League club Uniao Leiria on Friday. The former Portugal striker told reporters that the main reason for his unexpected departure was "disciplinary problems with some players".

Paciencia was in his first season as coach.

Leiria, who travel to Academica on Sunday, are eighth in the 16-team division with 30 points from 22 games.
