Pavarotti's widow and daughters reach inheritance deal

ROME (Reuters) - Luciano Pavarotti's widow and the tenor's three daughters from his first marriage have reached a deal over his inheritance following his death last year.

Pavarotti's manager Terri Robson told Reuters the agreement had been reached "in a very civilized and friendly manner," without giving further details.

Pavarotti's fortune has been estimated at up to 300 million euros ($474.2 million), including $15 million in U.S. assets.

The opera star died last September of pancreatic cancer, at 71.

Since then Italian media has been awash with reports of a battle over his estate between Nicoletta Mantovani, Pavarotti's second wife who is 34 years his junior, and his three daughters from his first marriage.

Mantovani, who last October made a rare TV appearance to deny the row, has a five-year old daughter by Pavarotti.
