LILLE, July 4 (Reuters) - France goalkeeper Mickael Landreau, who only joined Lille on Monday, has torn the cruciate ligament in his right knee and will be out for at least six months.

"Landreau injured his knee during a training session on Friday. He will have surgery in a Paris hospital on Sunday," Lille said in a statement on Saturday.

The 30-year-old, who has won 11 caps for his country, signed a three-year contract earlier this week after leaving Ligue 1 rivals Paris St Germain.
