UK's Brown disappointed by minister's resignation
LONDON, June 4 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Gordon Brown is disappointed by the resignation of cabinet minister James Purnell and will focus in the coming days on restructuring the government, a spokesman said on Thursday.
The opposition Conservatives repeated their call for an immediate national election in the wake of Purnell's resignation and call for Brown to step down. (Reporting by Adrian Croft; editing by Keith Weir)
