Rugby-Carter fit for All Blacks, debut for Guildford in Cardiff
LONDON, Nov 4 (Reuters) - New Zealand flyhalf Dan Carter has recovered from a calf strain and was on Wednesday named in the All Blacks team to face Wales in Cardiff on Saturday.
Carter was a doubt after injuring himself in last weekend's 32-19 win over Australia in Tokyo but is clear to take his place at the Millennium Stadium (17.15GMT).
Coach Graham Henry announced his team in Cardiff and made six changes - two of them enforced by suspension - and gives a debut to winger Zac Guildford.
Guildford, 20, who replaces banned Sitiveni Sivivatu, was one of the stand-out players in last year's under-20 world championship and he has continued that form with a prolific try-scoring season for Hawke's Bay.
Wyatt Crockett starts in the front row in place of Tony Woodcock, who is also serving a one-game suspension from the Tokyo game.
Brendan Leonard starts at scrumhalf, with Jimmy Cowan dropping to the bench. Jason Eaton comes in at lock alongside Brad Thorn wile Jerome Kaino and Kieran Read are drafted into the back row.
New Zealand have not lost to Wales since 1953 - a run of 20 straight wins. After kicking off their tour against them the All Blacks will also play Italy, England and France. (Reporting by Mitch Phillips, Editing by Justin Palmer; To comment on this story: sportsfeedback@thomsonreuters.com)
