STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-UK small caps fall 0.4 pct midday

The FTSE Small Cap index .FTSC falls 0.4 percent in midday trade, while the blue chips .FTSE and the midcaps .FTMC are both off 0.6 percent.

Quadnetics (QDG.L) drops 7.7 percent after the provider of CCTV systems and security networks revises down its baseline full-year underlying profits expectation due to potential delays in its North American gaming contracts. [ID:nRnsE9902B]

Rok (ROK.L) is a big small cap gainer, up 16.4 percent, after the property repair and maintenance specialist forecasts full-year results will be in line with its expectations, with Numis Securities lifting its rating for the stock to "buy".
