STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Adventis up after placing

Shares in Adventis (ADVG.L), a UK-based marketing and advertising agency, adds 5.6 percent after the company raises approximately 0.83 million pound through a placing, which prompts Hoodless Brennan to repeat its "buy" rating.

Hoodles says in a note: "This announcement suggests that the company may be closing in on some interesting targets".

The broker says the placing at 19 pence, conducted at a premium to Wednesday's close, "seems good vindication of its forward strategy from investors".
