Russia gas supplies to Bulgaria at critical level

SOFIA, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Bulgaria said Russian gas exports via Ukraine dropped to a critical level on Tuesday and that it was preparing emergency measures to make up the shortfall.

"The flow has dropped very significantly," said a spokeswoman for Bulgaria's state gas monopoly Bulgargaz. She did not give details but said her company would hold a news conference later on Tuesday.
