LONDON, Nov 9 (Reuters) - British funeral home and crematoria firm Dignity (DTY.L) on Monday posted a 7.2 percent rise in nine months profit and said its expectations for the full year remained unchanged.
Dignity, which is the UK's only listed funeral services provider, said operating profit, excluding profit on the sale of fixed assets, was 43.0 million pounds ($71.4 million) in the 39 weeks to Sept. 25.
That compares with 40.1 million pounds in the previous corresponding period.
Revenue increased 5.0 percent to 137.3 million pounds.
Dignity said trading since Sept. 25 was in line with management expectations.
Shares in Dignity, which have increased by 19 percent over the last six months, closed on Friday at 602 pence, valuing the business at 384 million pounds. (Reporting by James Davey, editing by Mark Potter)
