Soccer-South America roundup-Title deciders in Uruguay and Chile

BUENOS AIRES, July 6 (Reuters) - The Uruguayan and Chilean championship finals are delicately poised with deciders to be played in midweek.
Striker Luis Miguel Garces scored a hat-trick to keep Macara in contention for a place in the final stage of the Ecuadorean championship while Nolberto Solano scored with a brilliant free kick in Peru.
URUGUAY
Nacional put last week's Libertadores Cup semi-final defeat by Estudiantes of Argentina behind them to draw 1-1 with Defensor Sporting in the second leg of their Uruguayan championship final and force a decider.
The first leg between Apertura tournament winners Nacional and the Clausura championship's top team Defensor had also finished 1-1.
Defender Adrian Romero put Nacional, who won the Apertura in the first half of the season, ahead when he struck a free kick from 40 metres into the top corner in the 22nd minute.
Striker Diego Vera nodded home the equaliser just before halftime from Pablo Pintos's cross to the far post. Continued...
