LONDON, Nov 6 (Reuters) - England prop Phil Vickery has had successful neck surgery and now faces a rest period before rehabilitation which is expected to last more than three months, his club Wasps said in a statement on Friday.

The injury has left the 33-year-old out of the reckoning for the start of the Six Nations in February plus this month's internationals at Twickenham against Australia, Argentina and New Zealand.

Wasps said flyhalf Danny Cipriani, who was recently in England's second-string Saxons squad, would start running again next week after sustaining a hairline fracture to his right fibula early last month.
