UPDATE 3-Soccer-Kaka could be poised to join Real - Perez
* Real's Perez says Kaka deal could be announced soon
* Milan's Brazilian has medical at Real's request (recasts with Perez quotes)
RIO DE JANEIRO, June 8 (Reuters) - AC Milan's Kaka could sign for Real Madrid in the next few hours, Real president Florentino Perez said on Monday after the playmaker underwent a medical in Brazil. Media reports said the fee would be around 68 million euros ($94 million), which would make the transfer the second biggest ever after Zinedine Zidane joined Real from Juventus for around 73 million euros in 2001.
"If he decides to leave Milan, Real is the ideal club for him," Perez told Italy's Sky television.
"It is possible that during the night the player will announce that he is joining Real."
Reports have said the 2007 world player of the year, who is on international duty with Brazil, is set to hold a news conference in the next few hours.
Milan, who are considering selling for economic reasons, said last week that the move would be discussed with Kaka on Monday but that no deal had been completed. The Serie A side have made no further comment.
Earlier, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said the 27-year-old had undergone a medical at the request of Real.
