LONDON, July 9 (Reuters) - British animal genetics company Genus (GENS.L) said on Thursday that its underlying profit would remain flat until there is an overall market recovery next year.

However, for the year ended June 30 Genus said currency benefits would lead to strong growth in reported profits, offsetting the flat underlying performance.  Continued...
