Rugby-Wales flanker Jones to miss November games after surgery
LONDON, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Wales back rower Dafydd Jones will undergo surgery on a shoulder injury sustained playing against New Zealand on Saturday and has been ruled out of the remaining November internationals, the Welsh Rugby Union said on Monday.
"Dafydd sprung his A/C joint and the severity of the injury has led to him undergoing a repair this afternoon," Wales physio Mark Davies said in a statement.
"The prospects for recovery are good and we would anticipate him returning to play early in the New Year."
Wales, who lost the game 19-12, play Samoa on Friday with games to follow against Argentina and Australia.
