BRIEF-Soccer-Bordeaux sign Czech midfielder Plasil

BORDEAUX, France, July 9 (Reuters) - Czech international midfielder Jaroslav Plasil has joined Girondins Bordeaux from Spanish club Osasuna on a four-year contract, the French champions said in a statement on Thursday.

The 27-year-old Plasil has 47 caps. He played for AS Monaco from 2001 to 2008 before joining Osasuna in 2007.

He became Bordeaux's third signing of the close season after France midfielder Yoann Gourcuff and goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso.
