FRANKFURT, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Europe's biggest commercial broadcaster RTL Group AUDK.LU said it saw improved TV advertisement bookings but like many of its peers remained wary on its outlook for the full year.

"As there is no visibility for the rest of the year, the Group remains cautious," RTL Group, producer of shows such as Idols, The X Factor, Got Talent and Farmer Wants a Wife, said on Tuesday as it reported third-quarter earnings.

"Based on the ongoing cost-saving efforts, which are still unfolding their full impact, RTL Group is confident that it can continue to mitigate the EBITA decrease," the company said

The Luxembourg-based company, which competes with broadcasters such as Germany's ProSiebenSat1 (PSMG_p.DE) and Britain's ITV (ITV.L), said earnings before interest, tax and amortisation were 92 million euros ($137.8 million), up 22.7 percent thanks to higher profit in its German, French and Dutch operations.

Sales for the quarter dropped 5 percent to 1.13 billion euros due to a significant decrease in TV advertising markets across Europe.  Continued...
