STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Aareal up after Q3 result in line

Shares in Aareal Bank (ARLG.DE) rise 3.9 percent, making them the second sharpest gainers among German midcaps .MDAXI, after the real estate lender releases third-quarter results that are in-line with expectations.

"Aareal once again managed to show a positive quarterly result. The results were fully in line with our expectations and the company sticks to its full-year guidance," says analyst Phillip Haessler from Equinet. Analyst Matthias Duerr says: "Third-quarter figures meet our and the market expectations. Furthermore, the 2009 outlook was confirmed which is positive in our view."
