WARSAW, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Bogdanka LWBP.WA, Poland's sole listed coalminer, expects a rise in its net profit in 2010, but at a slower pace than in 2009 due to limited scope for higher coal prices, Chief Executive Miroslaw Taras said on Tuesday.

Net profit in first nine months of the year rose 39 percent to 174.4 million zlotys ($62 million), already well ahead of the 156 million zlotys made in the whole of 2008.

"In 2010 and 2011 the progress curve will flatten, we will have a significantly lower growth, but still results will remain very good," Taras told reporters.

Bogdanka's net profit jumped 24 percent year-on-year in the third quarter to 91 million zlotys ($32.44 million) and the miner is not far from meeting its full-year forecast of 178 million zlotys.

However, Taras played down the chance of another rise in the forecast this year.

Bogdanka sells nearly all of its coal to Polish energy producers, who are dependent on coal as a main fuel, and wants to sign a long-term deal with its largest client, Enea's ENAE.WA Elektrownia Kozienice.

Shares at the state-controlled miner, worth 2.5 billion zlotys, have risen 23 percent since their July debut on the Warsaw bourse. ($1=2.805 zlotys) (Reporting by Agata Nalecz; Writing by Patryk Wasilewski; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
