BRIEF-Golf-Harrington warms up for Turnberry with Irish PGA win
LONDON, July 11 (Reuters) - Ireland's Padraig Harrington, who will bid for a hat-trick of British Open titles next week, warmed up with victory in a minor tournament on Saturday.
The 37-year-old won the Irish PGA Championship for the third time in a row after a closing 72 at The European Club in County Wicklow.
Harrington, who plays in the tournament to gain links-course practice ahead of the Open, won by seven strokes with a one-under total of 283.
The Turnberry Open starts on Thursday.
