Danish biotech company Bavarian Nordic (BAVA.CO) falls 9.1 percent, distinctly underperforming peers in the MSCI European pharma, biotech and life sciences index .MIEU0PB00PEU, with analysts citing the company's tentative plans to seek to raise new capital.

Bavarian Nordic's third-quarter report, which analysts say contained no surprises, says the company "is exploring available options for securing an optimum financial position" to execute its biodefence and cancer plans.

"Even if there's nothing concrete on the table yet, this is enough to build negative sentiment towards the share," Nordea says in a note.

Jyske Bank reiterates its "reduce" recommendation on the stock. For more double click on [ID:nHUGBYACOa]
