BRIEF-Soccer-Mandjeck replaces injured Bassong in Cameroon squad

YAOUNDE, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Georges Mandjeck has been called up to Cameroon's squad to replace injured Tottenham Hotspur defender Sebastien Bassong for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Morocco, the country's football federation announced.

The 20-year-old from Kaiserslautern won his first cap in a friendly against Angola in October.

A win for Group A leaders Cameroon in Fes will ensure qualification for next year's World Cup finals in South Africa.

Bassong injured his hamstring during the Premier League defeat to Arsenal at the start of the month.
