Legal & General rises on renewed bid talk -traders

LONDON, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Shares in UK life insurer Legal & General (LGEN.L) rose 6.4 percent on Wednesday, with traders citing renewed market talk of a break-up bid, led by Resolution (RSL.L).

Legal & General and Resolution both declined to comment on the market talk.

Nearly 15 million shares changed hands by 1223 GMT, against a 90-day average of 30 million.
