PARIS, Aug 12 (Reuters) - France coach Raymond Domenech said he was taking a risk on Tuesday by shuffling his pack of players for next week's friendly in Sweden.
Domenech chose Girondins Bordeaux striker Yoann Gourcuff, 22, and Stade Rennes defender Rod Fanni, 26, in his squad for the first time.
Arsenal full back Gael Clichy, 23, also came in for Eric Abidal, who is suspended for the first World Cup qualifier against Austria on Sept. 6.
"There's a new generation of young players, very young some of them, which is a concern," Domenech told reporters.
"It's a new generation, with all the risks that brings. Our job is to create a situation where things go well."
Among the other youngsters named were strikers Karim Benzema, 20, and Hatem Ben-Arfa, 21, and keeper Hugo Lloris, 21.
