Shares in Hochtief (HOTG.DE) are indicated 1 percent higher in pre-market trade after Germany's biggest construction company reports better-than-expected third-quarter results and partially lifts its full-year outlook.

"Significantly higher order intake and better earnings before tax and earnings after tax should drive share price, maybe we see some profit taking later as the stock had a good run in last days," a Frankfurt-based trader says.

Hochtief shares have risen almost 9 percent in the past five trading days.
