BRIEF-Soccer-"El Clasico" to be shown in Spanish cinemas

MADRID, Nov 12 (Reuters) - The La Liga showdown between champions Barcelona and arch rivals Real Madrid later this month will be shown in cinemas, broadcast rights holder Mediapro said on Thursday.

The match, known in Spain as "El Clasico", is provisionally scheduled for Sunday Nov. 29 and will be shown in Kinepolis, Yelmo and Cinesa theatres for the same price as a regular cinema entrance fee, the company said.

"Until now nobody has seen football like this, on a super-giant screen with the special sound of the cinema," Mediapro chairman Jaume Roures was quoted as saying in the Spanish media.
