BRIEF-Soccer-Shittu pulls out of Nigeria squad for qualifier

ABUJA, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Bolton Wanderers defender Danny Shittu has pulled out of Nigeria's World Cup qualifier against Kenya because of injury, officials said on Thursday.

The Nigerian Football Association did not give details of the injury. Nigeria have already had to call up Kalu Uche from Spanish club Almeria in place of injured midfielder Sani Keita.

They must win their final African Zone Group B match in Nairobi on Saturday to stand any chance of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup finals. Nigeria are two points behind leaders Tunisia who travel to Mozambique.
