Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on July 14
MILAN, July 14 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect Italian markets on Tuesday.

* EDISON (EDN.MI)
The utility will sign a memorandum of understanding for a new pipeline between Greece and Bulgaria on Tuesday with Greece's state gas company Depa and Bulgaria's Beh, MF reported. The pipeline will form part of the ITGI network and investments total 120 million euros, with possibility for access to another 45 million euros in European Union funds, it said. MF quoted the head of international activities for Edison in its story.
ENEL (ENEI.MI)
Rating agency S&P has removed Enel from creditwatch negative, saying the utility has materially reduced refinacing risk and improved liquidity after raising 8 billion euros in equity. [ID:nWNA8896]
UNICREDIT (CRDI.MI)
Deputy Chief Executive Sergio Ermotti, the head of UniCredit's investment banking unit, told Germany's Handelsblatt newspaper that the bank would reintroduce bonuses for its investment bankers this year, Ansa news agency reported late on Monday. The first half of 2009 "went well" for the investment bank unit, he said.
* TENARIS (TENR.MI)
The oil industry pipe maker will cut output and temporarily lay off more than 2,000 workers because of the economic crisis, MF said without citing sources.
ASSICURAZIONI GENERALI (GASI.MI)
The insurer's shareholders hold extraordinary general
meeting to approve acquisition of unit Alleanza Assicurazioni
(ALZI.MI).
SMALL AND MID CAPS
SAFILO (SFLG.MI)
Nicolas Berggruen, head of the Berggruen Holding investment group, said in an interview with Il Sole 24 Ore that the group had sent two letters to the eyewear maker proposing an alliance. However, Safilo appears to not be considering the offer. Berggruen said he had proposed a merger betweeen his FGX International unit and Safilo and his firm was prepared to inject capital into Safilo. He gave no financial details on the offer.
KINEXIA (KINX.MI)
The energy company will not go ahead with the acquisition of Stea Divisione Energia Solare after an unsatisfactory due diligence, the company said in a statement.
EUTELIA (EUT.MI)
The telecommunications operator has executed an agreement to
sell its Polish mobile phone unit Mobyland for 13 million euros,
the company said in a statement.
* BUZZI UNICEM (BZU.MI)
Goldman Sachs cut its target price for the cement company's shares to 8.9 euros from 9.4 euros, rating "sell".
