Russian PM tells EU Ukraine blocking gas-agencies

MOSCOW, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin told European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso in a telephone conversation on Tuesday Ukraine was blocking the transit of Russian gas, news agencies reported.

"The chairman of the government informed the head of the European Commission that Russian transit gas, which was partially restarted, is not going through the Ukrainian pipeline system.
