Shares in drug company Zeltia (ZEL.MC) drop 19 percent to 4.47 euros as U.S. Food and Drug Administration staff question data on the company's flagship Yondelis drug in the treatment of ovarian cancer.

"This is really negative news for Zeltia if there are doubts over Yondelis for ovarian cancer ... A lot of potential revenues are riding on FDA approval," a Madrid-based analyst says.

The FDA advisory panel is due to meet on Wednesday to consider the drug, which Zeltia is developing with Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.N).
