STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-UK small caps up 0.1 pct early on
The FTSE small cap index .FTSC rises 0.1 percent in early trade, as London's blue chips .FTSE make a stuttering start to the week, down 0.6 percent, following losses in the U.S. on Friday, with the FTSE 250 .FTMC also down 0.2 percent.
Utility support services group Spice (SPI.L) gains 4 percent after meeting expectations as full-year profit rose 58 percent, driven by acquisitions and growing regulatory markets, and said it had bought Australian telecoms company ComGroup. [ID:nLD482553]
Irish drinks group C&C (GCC.I) drops 8.8 percent after it says its revenue fell 5 percent in the first four months of the current year, correcting its report last week that revenue was up 3 percent in the period. [ID:nLD542721]
