STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-European futures point to lower opening
European stock index futures point to a lower opening, following a drop on Wall Street and after preliminary data shows Germany's economy grew 0.7 percent in the third-quarter compared to the second quarter, slightly less than the Reuters consensus of 0.8 percent of growth. [ID:nBAF003849]
DJ Euro Stoxx STXEc1 futures, Germany's DAX futures FDXc1 and France's CAC-40 futures FCEc1 are down 0.03-0.1 percent.
European shares rose to a three-week closing high on Thursday with telecom shares up after earnings results and airlines gaining ground on merger news.
